Eight lifter

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In verse, an eight-lever is a meter with eight digits or a specific verse that corresponds to such a meter. The term can be used in literatures with an accentuating verse principle , since only there the number of elevations is decisive for the meter. Since, according to Heusler's theory of verse, the number of bars corresponds to the number of lifts, the eight- stroke is also called an eight-stroke .
