Ackersegen is a German table potato . It was bred in 1929 by Georg Friedrich Böhm from Groß Bieberau , from the varieties Hindenburg and Very Early Yellow .

Field blessing is profuse and white-flowering, the round oval tuber is medium to large in size, the skin is smooth to moist and ocher yellow, it has flat eyes. The flesh color of the potato is light yellow to yellow, the taste is described as buttery to spicy. The variety is floury to waxy and can be used universally as puree, baked and boiled potatoes. The potato ripens late and is productive. Ackersegen is known as a problem-free household and fodder potato.
