Ackertklippe

Ackertklippe is a rock formation in Königshütte in the Harz district . It is made of limestone . A street in the village is named after this cliff.

The cliff can be climbed via a hiking trail. A refuge was built on it at the beginning of the 20th century. From the cliff there is a comprehensive view of the place, the Bode and the surrounding Harz Mountains up to the Wurmberg and the Brocken . The rock formation Ackertklippe is also the namesake for the restaurant and guesthouse "Am Felsen", which is located below the cliff on the Bode.
