The Acne Venenata or Kontaktakne one of the exogenous forms of acne . It is characterized by the fact that the skin changes that are typical of acne occur after contact with a triggering substance.
The following subtypes are known:
- Chlorine acne , occurs after contact with chlorinated hydrocarbons.
- Oil acne , occurs after contact with mineral oils and lubricants .
- Tar acne , occurs after contact with tar products .
Sometimes the acne cosmetica is also added. It occurs after using comedogenic cosmetics .
