With the caption Adı Hudea, sadece 4 yaşında (Turkish for: She is called Hudea and is only four years old ), a photo that Turkish journalist Osman Sağırlı took in December 2014 appeared in the Türkiye newspaper in early 2015 . It shows a four-year-old girl who lost her father in a bomb attack in Hama and who lived in the camp with her mother and three siblings.

According to the BBC, Osman Sağırlı took the photo from a greater distance in 2012 in the Atmeh refugee camp .
“Your facial features suddenly tighten. She clamps her lower lip between her teeth and slowly raises her arms ... She doesn't say a word and stays where she is ... A child who thinks the camera is a weapon cannot simply be comforted. Her name is Hudea and she is only four years old. She lost her father in the bombing in Hama. With her mother and her three siblings she fled to the Atma camp. "
