With the caption Adı Hudea, sadece 4 yaşında (Turkish for: She is called Hudea and is only four years old ), a photo that Turkish journalist Osman Sağırlı took in December 2014 appeared in the Türkiye newspaper in early 2015 . It shows a four-year-old girl who lost her father in a bomb attack in Hama and who lived in the camp with her mother and three siblings.

According to the BBC, Osman Sağırlı took the photo from a greater distance in 2012 in the Atmeh refugee camp .

A child who thinks the camera is a weapon cannot simply be comforted. Her name is Hudea and she is only four years old. She lost her father in the bombing in Hama.
