Ada Gabrieljan
Ada Gabrieljan (born November 4, 1941 in Gyumri , Armenia ) is an Armenian painter and university teacher .
life and work
Gabrieljan studied at the State Institute for Theater and Cinematography in Yerevan and graduated in 1965. From 1977 to 1987 she taught painting, drawing and composition at the Armenian State Pedagogical University . From 1991 to 2001 she taught “Armenian ritual clothing” at the State Academy of Arts of Armenia . Since 1990 she has been writing books on the theory of archaic art and its relationship to modern art as well as painting, graphics and embroidery.
