Adam Neuner

Adam Neuner (born March 24, 1788 in Pfungstadt ; † December 27, 1869 in Darmstadt ) was a surgeon.

In October 1805 he joined the body regiment as a junior surgeon. In November 1836 he became a medical officer of the Grand Ducal Artillery Corps. He injected sublimate solution into the eyes of the deceased "for the artificial creation of cataracts to learn about cataract surgery."
