The Adamson Peak is a small mountain on the Budd Coast of the East Antarctic Wilke country . It rises on the Mitchell Peninsula south of Casey Station, Australia .
It is named after the Australian biologist Heather Adamson (1934-2010), who carried out studies on the spread of mosses and lichens in this area in three campaigns of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions between 1986 and 1989 .
