Adelbodner

Adelbodner is a Swiss beverage brand that produces mineral water and lemonades. It is named after the location of the mineral spring in Adelboden in the Bernese Oberland .

history

The spring has been known since 1559, and the healing properties were first described in 1617.

The source is owned by Adelboden Mineral- und Heilquellen AG , founded in 1949 , which belonged to the German Rhön Sprudel Group from 1995 to 2010 and was then sold to Top Mountain Holding AG. In 2015, the Adelboden Light and Water Works (LWA) took over the majority of the Adelboden mineral spring.

The company employs 45 people.

Brands

Adelbodner is available in restaurants or in specialized beverage stores and in retail outlets in the region. Other brands are the Adello and the Alpenrose . The mineral water and lemonades are sold in Landi stores across Switzerland under the Farmer brand . VIVES mineral water from Spar Holding AG is also available as a private label .
