Adherbal (Admiral)
Adherbal or Ad Herbal († 230 BC ) was the commander of the Carthaginian fleet in the struggle for supremacy in the Mediterranean during the First Punic War against the Roman Republic of 264 BC. BC to 241 BC His command lasted at least until the Battle of Drepana in 249 BC. BC, Carthage's only naval victory in this war.
