Administration-to-Business ( A2B , in German: authorities-to-companies) describes a business relationship between public institutions , such as authorities , government agencies and public administrative institutions (administration) and a company (business). The public institution is the provider and the company is the customer .

In the area of e-business , this can be, for example, online tenders for public contracts or the provision of forms.
