Adobe Type
Adobe Type is a division of Adobe Inc. , which deals with the development of fonts and corresponding technology and was the driving force behind the now generally recognized and widespread Types 1 and 3 of the PostScript font formats and OpenType .
The fonts can be bought as a single face, as a font family or in a package. The font collection is sold under the name Adobe Font Folio and version 11.1 was released in 2008. This collection with license packages for 5, 10 or 20 computers contains more than 2,400 fonts from the Adobe Type Library in OpenType format. Adobe Font Folio officially supports Windows and Mac OS X , but the fonts it contains can also be imported into most Linux distributions .
