Adolf Lu Hitler Marak

Adolf Lu Hitler Rangsa Marak (ॲडॉल्फ लु हिटलर माराक) is an Indian politician from the Nationalist Congress Party from Meghalaya .

Marak was a member of the Meghalaya Parliament until 2003 and a member of the Meghalaya government in the cabinets of Evansius Kek Mawlong and Flinder Anderson Khonglam . In March 2008, Marak was re-elected to the state parliament. There he also acts as chairman of the committee for public tasks.

In June 2003 he was suspected of having contacts with the militant group Achik National Volunteers' Council and was briefly detained.

Marak is named after the German dictator Adolf Hitler . Such a naming is not uncommon in the Indian state of Meghalaya. Other local politicians are Lenin R. Marak, Stalin L. Nangmin and Frankenstein W. Momin.
