Adosinda

Adosinda (* in the 8th century) was a daughter of King Alfonso I and Ermesindas and the wife of King Silo , who ruled Asturias from 757 to 768 .

Adosinda's marriage to Silo was childless. After King Silo's death, Adosinda tried in vain to put her nephew, later King Alfonso II , on the throne. In November 785 she entered a monastery founded by Silo in Pravia - the capital of Asturias under King Silo.
