Adrian Nicholas (March 4, 1962 , † September 17, 2005 ) was a British skydiver with over 8,000 jumps in thirty countries.

Nicholas became known to a wider public in 2000 through his successful test of Leonardo da Vinci's parachute study , with which he was able to provide practical evidence that Leonardo da Vinci had succeeded in the first working parachute design around 1485. Its pyramid-shaped design was later successfully tested in a modified form by the Swiss Olivier Vietti-Teppa.

Nicholas died on September 17th, 2005 in a skydiving accident.
