Advanced Functional Materials , abbreviated Adv. Funct. Mater. , is a scientific journal published by Wiley-VCH-Verlag. The magazine was founded in 1992 under the name Advanced Materials for Optics and Electronics . In 2001 it changed its name to Advanced Functional Materials and is currently published 24 times a year. Articles are published covering all aspects of materials science, including nanotechnology, chemistry, physics, and biology.
