Aelius Bassianus

Aelius Bassianus (his praenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd or 3rd century AD .

A dedicatory inscription that was found at Fort Pförring and which is dated 101/230 shows that Bassianus was prefect of the Ala I Singularium pia fidelis civium Romanorum .
