Marcus Scandilius Fabatus

Marcus Scandilius Fabatus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 1st or 2nd century AD .

A dedicatory inscription that was found at the Burghöfe fort and which is dated to 107/162 proves that Fabatus Praefectus equitum was the Ala Auriana .
