Aerik is a motu of the Rongelap Atoll of the Pacific republic of the Marshall Islands .

Aerik is located in the northern reef rim of the Rongelap Atoll, about 8 km east of the northwestern tip at Naen . A narrow channel runs east of the island, which also separates the island from Yugui . The island is uninhabited and has been contaminated with nuclear power since the Bravo bomb was tested for nuclear weapons .
