Marlen Block
Marlen Block (born June 29, 1980 in Berlin-Köpenick , GDR ) is a German lawyer and politician ( Die Linke ). In the state elections in Brandenburg in 2019 , she received a mandate in the Brandenburg state parliament .
Life
Marlen Block first grew up in East Berlin, but traveled to West Berlin with her mother in 1988 . From 2002 to 2009 she studied law at the University of Potsdam and the Free University of Berlin with a second state examination. She then worked as a lawyer in the field of criminal law.
politics
Block has been a member of the Die Linke party since 2015 and worked for Anita Tack's constituency . She has been a board member of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation since 2014 .
