Agathocles of Cyzicus
Agathocles of Cyzicus was an ancient Greek historian . He lived perhaps in the 3rd century BC. Chr .; his exact dates of life and his origin are unknown. He is sometimes referred to as a Babylonian and wrote a story of his hometown Kyzikos in the Ionian language (called περὶ Κυζίκου, About Kyzikos ). The work is lost, but it is quoted by various ancient authors and therefore it appears to have been quite popular.
