Agfa Solinette
With solos Nice called Agfa a 1952 presented small picture - folding camera with Faltbalgen .
prehistory
Although several 35mm cameras with fixed lenses appeared in 1952, Agfa did not react to this trend until two years later with the Silette and once again brought out a conventional model, i.e. a folding camera. In the meantime, this type of construction was considered outdated pre-war technology. The Solinette was not available with fast lenses, but only with those with a speed of 1: 3.5, but also with four-lens lenses. It was below the carat with the program .
construction
The design of the Solinette was similar to the Isolette medium format camera , so it had a front flap attached to the bottom of the housing. The shutter had to be opened by hand with a separate lever after each release, as is usual with most folding cameras.
First models
The Solinette appeared with two lenses, the three-lens Apotar f / 3.5 and the four-lens Solinar f / 3.5. The latter included the Compur RMXV shutter , with the V indicating a self-timer. For Apotar included the Prontor closures SV or SVS , which differed only in their design and also had a self-timer.
Solinette II
With the appearance of the Silette , the Solinette changed to Solinette II , but this meant only minor modifications.
Super solinette
The Super-Solinette was easy to recognize by the two windows in the housing cover, one for the viewfinder and one for the built-in range finder. She always had the Solinar f / 3.5.
