Bellows
In photography , a bellows is a flexible, light-tight connection between the lens and the camera housing.
Bellows are or have been used for:
- View cameras and repro cameras for shifting and swiveling the lens standard and the film standard
- Folding cameras , projectors here, however, mostly without adjustment options
- 35mm and medium format cameras as bellows devices in macro photography
- special lens hoods, the compendia
- Magnifying devices in the photo laboratory or darkroom
- Wide-angle adjustment devices on large format cameras
- for setting eyepieces
