Agraciada is a place in Uruguay .
geography
It is located on the territory of the Department of Colonia in its sector 8 . There the place borders on the northern border to the neighboring Soriano , in sector 4 of which part of the place is also located. To the west of Agraciada, the rivers Arroyo de la Agraciada , Arroyo Agraciada Chico , Arroyo del Sauce , Yerba Buena and del Sauce have their source. The areas north and south-east of the city are known as Cuchilla San Salvador and Cuchilla del Sauce . A few kilometers away in the southwest is the city of Nueva Palmira .
history
On June 28, 1939, Agraciada was registered as " Pueblo " by Law No. 9,839 .
Residents
Agraciada had a total of 596 inhabitants at the time of the 2011 census, 394 of them in Soriano (189 male and 205 female) and 192 (99/93) in Colonia. At the 2004 census, the place had 220 inhabitants in the Colonia department and 389 inhabitants in the Soriano department. The total number of inhabitants was 609 at the time.
