Agustin de la Rosa

Agustín de la Rosa (* before 1764, † after 1795) was a Spanish politician and military .

From April 8, 1764 to 1771 he was governor of Montevideo in what is now Uruguay, South America, and thus after José Joaquín de Viana the second to hold this position. He also founded the city of Melo on June 27, 1795 . De la Rosa was married to María Sarde Laforet.
