Ahmad Halil

Sheikh Ahmad Halil ( Arabic أحمد هليل, DMG Aḥmad Halīl ) is a former chief judge (قاضي القضاة / qāḍī al-quḍāh ) from Jordan and Imam of the Hashemite court. He is the former Minister for Religious Foundations and Islamic Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan .

He is one of the Senior Fellows of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought (Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought).

He was one of the 138 signatories of the open letter a common word between us and you ( english A Common Word Between Us and You ), the personalities of Islam to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere" (English: "Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ..." ) (October 13, 2007).

He was one of the signatories of the Amman Message ( Amman Message ).
