Ahmad Kutty
Sheikh Ahmad Kutty (* 1946 in Kerala , India ) is an Islamic theologian and clergyman in Canada . He is a senior lecturer and imam at the Islamic Institute of Toronto , of which he was also director, and a non-resident imam and chatib (preacher) at the Islamic Center of Canada, the Bosnian Islamic Center and the Ansar Mosque .
Before coming to Canada, he completed his education at Islamiya College Santapuram, then at the Islamic University of Medina , Saudi Arabia .
He was one of the other signatories of the open letter a common word between us and you ( Engl. A Common Word Between Us and You ), the personalities of Islam to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere" (Engl. "Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ... “) (October 13, 2007).
