Aiginetes (painter)
Aiginetes ( ancient Greek Αἰγινήτης ) was a Greek painter who worked at the end of the 3rd century BC. Was active.
He is named by Pliny as the brother of the painter Pasias from Sikyon , who was a student of Erigonos . Since the passage in Pliny has survived only corrupt, was held pictoris also fictoris read. According to this, Aiginetes would not be a painter but a sculptor.
