The SeaMax is an ultra-light amphibious aircraft from the Brazilian manufacturer AirMax Construcoes Aeronauticas Ltda .

History and construction

The SeaMax was developed in 1999 and flew for the first time in 2000. The machine consists almost entirely of composite materials and metal components and is designed as a strutted shoulder wing. The lateral support floats are located under the wings. A nose wheel landing gear can be pulled into the boat-shaped hull. The aircraft has a Rotax 912 U with 75 kW mounted above the fuselage , which drives a pusher propeller. Pilot and passenger sit side by side under a one-piece cockpit canopy.
