Aison (city)

According to tradition, a city called Aison , named after Jason’s father , was mentioned by Apollonios of Rhodes near Stephanos of Byzantium . It is said to have been near Iolkos . In earlier research, the city was suspected to be near the early Bronze Age settlement sites Dimini or Sesklo . Today, however, it is believed that the city never existed.
