Aizi
Aizi ( Chinese 隘子镇 , Pinyin Àizǐ Zhen ) is a large village in the south of the circle Shixing the prefecture-level city Shaoguan in the Chinese province of Guangdong . Aizi has an area of 323.26 km² (of which 266 km² is forest and only 7.45 km² arable land) and has 20,124 inhabitants (end of 2008).
The enclosed Hakka village of Mantang (Mantang white 满堂 围) of the family of Guan Qianrong (官 乾 榮) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-180) since 1996 .
Administrative structure
At the village level, Aizi consists of a community of residents and 13 villages. These are:
- Resident Community Aizizhen (隘子镇社区), the seat of the municipal government;
- Fengdu Village (风度 村);
- Village Huwan (湖湾村);
- Jianguo Village (建国 村);
- Village Jingxia (井下村);
- Lengdong Village (冷 洞 村);
- Lianfeng Village (联 丰村);
- Mantang village (满堂 村);
- Pingfeng Village (坪 丰村);
- Village Shaqiao (沙桥村);
- Shijing Village (石井村);
- Wuxing village (五星 村);
- Wuyi Village (五一 村);
- Village Yaomin (瑶民村), a village of the Yao Nationality .
