Akinori Mikami ( Japanese 三 上 明 紀 , Mikami Akinori ; born June 12, 1969 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Mikami learned to play soccer on the school team at Fujieda Higashi High School . He signed his first contract with Mitsubishi Motors in 1988 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League Division 1. At the end of the 1988/89 season, the club was relegated to Division 2. 1989/90 he was with the club champion of division 2 and rose to division 1. With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Mitsubishi Motors became Urawa Reds . For the club he completed 27 games. At the end of 1994 he ended his career as a football player.
