Akizuki class

Three classes of Japanese destroyers are designated as the Akizuki class , each according to the type ship:

  • Akizuki-class (1941) , a class of twelve ships of the Imperial Japanese Navy that served in World War II
  • Akizuki-class (1959) , a class of two ships of the Japanese Marine Self-Defense Forces, which were in service between 1960 and 1993
  • Akizuki-class (2010) , a class of four ships of the Japanese Marine Self-Defense Forces that has been in service since 2010
