Chord zither with six chords

The accord zither , more rarely mandolin zither and zither harp , is a fretboard-less box zither that emerged from the Scheitholt . In the 19th century, the demand for a simple, inexpensive "folk instrument" that could be learned without knowledge of music and that played the chord zither increased.
