The Akpafu live in the northeast of the country near Hohoe . Their language is the Siwu .
The Akpafu are also called Lolobi, Mawu or Akapafu-Lolobi . Mawu is the proper name of the ethnic group, the names Lolobi and Akpafu go back to place names.
