Actualism

Actualism (from the Latin actus , "the hustle and bustle", "the process", "the reality") stands for:

  • Actualism (philosophy) , philosophical view that there is an eternal coming and going, a constant change
  • Actualism (geology) , geological principle that one can deduce from today's geological processes about developments in the past
  • Actualism , in ecology processes of the present, provide the key to the past; That means processes that exist now were also active in the past (e.g. competition)
