The al-Faw Palace ( Arabic قصر الفاو, DMG Qasr al-Faw ) is a palace in Baghdad ( Iraq ). It is about five kilometers from the city's international airport . Its construction was commissioned by Saddam Hussein , in memory of the recapture of the al-Faw peninsula in the First Gulf War against Iran .

The complex, which consists of numerous villas and other buildings, was located within Camp Victory , one of the largest military bases of the US-led coalition in the Iraq war . The palace was used, among other things, as the headquarters for the Multi-National Force - Iraq .
