Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation

The Al-Furqān Islamic Heritage Foundation is a charitable foundation registered in the United Kingdom under number 2329628. It was founded in 1988 in London by the Yamani Cultural and Charitable Foundation . Sheikh Ahmed Zaki Yamani is the founder of the two foundations.

Among other things, the World Survey of Islamic Manuscripts is published by her .

The Al-Furqan Library was established in 1991.

The name Al-Furqān ( Arabic الفرقان) stands in Arabic for divorce, separation, decision, distinction and is used in several places in the Koran as a paraphrase of the Koran. Al-Furqān is also the name of the 25th Surah of the Koran.
