Al-Iraqia ( Arabic العراقيّة, DMG al-ʿIrāqiyya , English : Al Iraqiya ) is an Iraqi television station that was founded in May 2003 after the fall of Saddam Hussein . He is the successor of the state television Iraqi TV.

The Arabic language television channel is operated by the Iraqi government. The station can be received by around 85% of Iraqi households and has a market share of around 40%. The part of the population with satellite reception, however, prefers the international television channels Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabija .
