al-Mabarrah ( Arabic نادي المبرة, DMG Nādī al-Mabarra ) is a football club from Beirut in Lebanon and was founded in 1987. The club played in the country's highest league, the Lebanese Premier League , until 2012 . The club plays its home games at the Beirut Municipal Stadium. The club's greatest success was winning the Lebanese FA Cup in 2008 . For the first time the club reached the final that year. Against Safa SC Beirut , he prevailed 2-1. The cup win enabled the club to take part in the 2009 AFC Cup . After 4 match days in the group stage, the team is in second place in the table and has a good chance of reaching the next round. The championship seasons 2008/09 and 2009/10 the club finished in sixth place. In 2012, the club was eleventh and then relegated.
