Al Jones (singer)
Alfred Jones (born before 1980 in the Upper Palatinate ) is a German-American blues singer and guitarist.
Life
Alfred Jones was born to an American GI in the Upper Palatinate (Bavaria, Germany). Even as a boy he felt inspired by the blues and it was in the blues that he found the roots of his own music. Al Jones has worked with many international blues greats: BB King , Johnny Winter , Champion Jack Dupree , Louisiana Red , Willie Mabon , Tommy Tucker, Sonny Rhodes, Brenda Bell and others
In the early 1980s he founded the Al Jones Blues Band , which mainly tours Europe, both at festivals and in clubs. The American journal Livin 'Blues confirmed to Al Jones several years ago that there is nothing like it outside of the United States. Over the years, Al Jones has developed his own style, which is strongly linked to its original roots - the blues. Both guitar style and vocals are unmistakable and several CDs have already been released. Several times a year he toured with Louisiana Red .
