Al Mado
Al Mado (also: Al Medu , Somali Cal Madow ) is a mountain range in the Sanaag region in northern Somalia , which extends from Erigabo to southwest of Boosaaso . Al Mado is one of the few forested areas in Somalia and is considered environmentally valuable. It is also one of the areas in the region where oil reserves are suspected. It is claimed by both Somaliland and Puntland .
