The Alabama State Route 37 (abbreviated AL 37 ) is a state highway in the US state of Alabama , which runs north-south direction.

The State Route begins on US Highway 84 and Alabama State Route 134 near Daleville and ends at Fort Rucker .

Another route was number 37 between 1940 and 1995. It ran from Marvyn to Oxford . The section north of Opelika was added to US Highway 431 in 1954 . From 1960, the route from Marvyn to Hurtsboro . After the north widening of Alabama State Route 51 , to which the AL 37 belonged, the current route got the number 37.
