The Albatros Insurance Services GmbH (Albatros) is an insurance broker , specializing in the fields of aviation, corporate and employee insurance. The company is the leading employee broker for company pension schemes and personal insurance in Germany as well as the largest buyer of aviation insurance in Europe.

Business areas

Albatros looks after both corporate and private customers in the insurance business. The company currently looks after more than 450 corporate customers and around 140,000 private customers. According to the Federal Gazette, the company had sales of a good 30 million euros with total assets of just under 100 million euros.

The product range in the company segment ranges from industrial insurance to aviation insurance to special covers for credit and customer cards. The service includes, among other things, the support of companies in the context of risk management or the placement of insurance programs on the international insurance markets.

In addition, Albatros also offers special know-how and special cover concepts in personnel and employee insurance.

In the private customer segment, Albatros offers insurance solutions in the areas of life , property, health , property and casualty insurance as well as financing and capital investments . The offer is aimed exclusively at the workforce supervised by Albatros and is not accessible to the general public.

Throughout Germany, trained advisors are available for personal customer care in more than 20 advice centers. A service center also ensures availability by telephone. Company segment overview

The aviation insurance offer is aimed at national and international airlines, business and private airlines, companies in the aviation industry (e.g. manufacturers, maintenance companies), aviation associations and private aircraft owners. More than 50 airlines from over 20 countries are covered by the company. In addition to industrial insurance, another focus is on the technical support of workforces on the topics of insurance and provision with a focus on company pension schemes . Personal insurance, credit and loyalty card programs are also part of the portfolio.

history

Albatros Versicherungsdienste GmbH was founded in 1980 as a 100 percent subsidiary of Delvag Luftfahrtversicherungs-AG, a Lufthansa subsidiary. Eight years later, the first Albatros staff service advice centers were opened at Cologne / Bonn Airport and at locations in Frankfurt and Munich.

Since 2001, Albatros has also been supported by its own subsidiary Albatros Service Center GmbH (Hahn, Germany).
