Albert Brinkmann

Albert Brinkmann (born September 10, 1916 in Lütgendortmund ; † December 19, 2005 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

After graduating from elementary school, Albert Brinkmann attended the Deutscher Handlungshilfe-Verband - day school. He completed an insurance apprenticeship and became an insurance salesman. In 1955 he became an insurance inspector and in 1957 an authorized signatory. From 1960 he worked as a branch manager or branch manager.

politics

Albert Brinkmann had been a member of the CDU since 1949. From 1950 to 1953 he acted as district spokesman for the Junge Union. He was CDU board member of the Dortmund district from 1952 to 1970. Brinkmann was a member of the Dortmund city council from 1952 to 1970 and chairman of the CDU parliamentary group from 1964 to 1966. From 1964 to 1966 he was a member of the Westphalia-Lippe regional assembly.
In 1962 he was awarded the Dortmund Ring of Honor.

Albert Brinkmann was a member of the 6th , 7th and 8th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia from July 25, 1966 to May 28, 1980 , to which he entered via the state list.
