The Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) is a private university for human medicine . It was affiliated with Yeshiva University in New York City until 2016 .

AECOM offers Medical Doctor ( MD ) and Ph.D. as well as a Medical Scientist Training Program . About 750 medical students and 375 PhD students study there. This makes AECOM one of the largest medical training centers in the USA .

The physicist Albert Einstein consented to the use of his name on his 74th birthday on March 14, 1953.
