Albert Friedrich Gygax

Albert Friedrich Gygax (* 1896 in Bern , Switzerland ; † 1968 in Bern) was a trained chemigrapher and head of the cliché establishment Busag AG in Bern. Gygax wrote the standard work on Chemigraphy Modern Chemigraphy in Theory and Practice , which was published in 1957. In 1958 he was awarded the gold medal of the Photographic Society in Vienna. Gygax also served as a member of the International Committee of Selection for the International Photography Hall of Fame at the American Museum of Photography.
