Alderik Henk Blom

Alderik Henk Blom (born February 18, 1978 ) is a Dutch Celtologist .

Life

From 1995 to 2002 he studied Celtology, Medieval Studies and Cultural History at the University of Utrecht and German Studies at the University of Amsterdam . On September 1, 2017, he was appointed professor at the University of Marburg .

His research focuses on comparative glosses and marginalia research and the history of Celtic and Germanic linguistics within European national romanticism.
