Alejandro Cordoba Sosa

Alejandro Córdoba Sosa (* 1971 in Berisso , Province of Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an Argentinian writer .

Life

Among the stories of the author, in numerous anthologies were taken, is mainly Robar la nada emphasized. For this work he was awarded in 2000 as the winner of the annual Argentine federal competition Concurso Nacional de Cuento SADE 2000 by the Sociedad Argentina de Escritores SADE (Argentine Writers' Society).

Under the pseudonym Alejandro Zenteno Lobo , he published Doscientos y un cuentos en miniatura , a flash fiction book in 2007 , the short stories of which do not exceed seventy words. The book was illustrated by the artist Meli Valdés Sozzani .

One of the shortest stories in this book is a horror story, which is considered to be the shortest story in Spanish. It consists of eight twenty-eight letter words. The full text reads:

"Frente a él, el espejo estaba vacío."

In 2011, stories by Córdoba Sosa appeared in the anthology Poetas y Narradores Contemporáneos 2011 (Contemporary poets and storytellers 2011), published by the Editorial de los Cuatro Vientos (Buenos Aires).

In 2013, Córdoba Sosa published a personal selection of his stories under the title El enigma de O. This book was presented at the International Book Fair in Buenos Aires that same year. In 2014 a second personal selection of his stories was published, El destino de la especie , which was also presented at the 2014 Buenos Aires International Book Fair.
