Daniela Flörsheim

Daniela Flörsheim (born August 2, 1953 in Düsseldorf ) is a German painter .

Life

Daniela Flörsheim studied from 1971 to 1975 at the Dusseldorf Art Academy painting with Joseph Beuys , whose master student she was. From 1978 to '82 she studied ancient Hebrew and archeology at the University of Jerusalem . She lives and works in Düsseldorf.

Daniela Flörsheim is a representative of watercolor painting on canvas and paper. Her works have been shown in solo shows in international galleries and in group exhibitions in the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf (1976) and the Museum Kunstpalast (1997), among others . In 2010 she was the first German artist to exhibit her pictures in a solo exhibition at the Jehangir Gallery in Mumbai , India. The artist also creates performances such as for the exhibition Women in the World Religions in the Women's Museum Bonn (2013) and Fluxus campaigns .
